Jordan in Black & White

Some black and whites from our recent trip to Jordan.

Jerash

A theater....

Stairway to the tombs in Petra

The Siq in Petra

Tel Aviv

Last Sunday most of us kids at the JC went to Tel Aviv for a fun day at the beach before leaving for our Jordan Trip the next day.
We started off at the Flea Market near Old Jaffa. Lots of stuff to buy if you like that sorta thing.
These floral bad boys were calling out to me but I literally had no money.

Annie and I at a cool.... thing.... it was old if I'm not mistaken.
We found this really funny shop filled with strange, large ceramic statues including a giant banana with a tiny monkey on it, a velociraptor, a pink panther and this lively hot dog.

Steph, Pam, Annie

Heather, Annie, Camila, Lauren, Pam, and MJ. I have amazing friends.

Laney, Lauren, Rachelle, and Nat

Rachelle and I playing on the outdoor gym equipment. yes.

Overall a super fun day.

"I'm a creep." David Cramer Part Deux

Just a quick creeper update before I get Tel Aviv and Jordan posts up.

Meet Michael. His sunglasses were MIA so he got to wear
my sweet floral shades all day.

On closer inspection: David Cramer made sure he got in the shot. The best part is
that he is only visible in one of the four sunglass lenses. But don't worry. I found him.

What a guy.

To the best Dad in the world (sadly I have no pictures of us on my laptop but I thought I'd do a quick post anyways):

I miss you. I miss your good advice when I'm stressed and when I'm not. I miss laughing hysterically with you (especially that last night when you kept laughing about Sydney texting me back!) I think of you when people talk about Les Miserable (which we actually talk about a lot over here. We are all really excited about the movie coming out December 14) I am missing going on family trips with you this summer and you driving the entire time and passing the life savers back to us kids and then taking our trash. I miss you letting me take a "sip" of your diet coke with lime and then not caring when I take three. I miss being able to give you a hug. Especially today on the day that the world (or the best parts of it) celebrate fathers. I don't know what I would do without you. I wouldn't be who I am today. I keep striving to be kinder, harder working, deeper thinking, less of a complainer, more easy going, and lots of other of the best qualities a person could have because of you. I love you and I love that you love me.

Happy Father's Day!

For David Cramer. First Creeper Picture of Many.

Seemingly a photo of the Augusta Victoria Church.
But please note the poorly drawn white box.

Reason #1: David Cramer is always ready to pose for a picture.

A Day at the Zoo

Today for our free day a group of us headed over to the zoo! It was great. I haven't been to a zoo in years.
Also last night we got a little surprise: Jon Schmidt came and did a concert at the Augusta Victoria. Super random that he was here... but fun none the less.

Annie and I at the concert.

Little Jon Schmidt.
Mosaic Cat. We couldn't pass it up.

Lane and I with the Precious Turtle

1. Attempting to hold a baby goat. Somewhat excited.

2. A little unsure.
3. Pure Terror
